OPEN PLAN LIVING
Previously a residential care home, but with the green-light to create a single private home, our clients approached us with both excitement and trepidation about embarking on this large refurbishment. We reconfigured the entire ground floor with new doors, windows and internal walls. Turning what was once a series of small dark cellular spaces into a wide, light-filled open-plan kitchen with walk-in larder, dining space, lounge and playroom. In addition we proposed extensive improvements to the exterior with new skylights, fresh paintwork and render. This generously proportioned home now flows beautifully from the moment you walk into the grand hallway until you curl up into bed at night.
