CORNISH RESIDENCE
A home rooted in the West Cornwall landscape of gorse, granite and slate, Halftides House follows the contours of its clifftop site with long views to Mullion Island and across the channel. Alongside Mosley Thorold architects, we were appointed to detail a bold interior scheme to complement the exterior and in keeping with the property’s rugged coastal location. From the internal spatial planning to detailed joinery design, decisions aligned with a refined palette of materials and were inspired by the natural colours of the landscape and local topography. Our materials palette of cherry and Douglas fir timber, locally-sourced granite, and mineral plasters meet uniquely detailed staircases, an expansive wine room, a spa-like ensuite and a surprising, light-filled subterranean gymnasium.
