CORNISH RESIDENCE

Deep in the West Cornwall landscape of gorse and granite, Halftides House follows the contours of its clifftop site with views to Mullion Island and across the channel. Alongside Mosley Thorold architects, we were appointed to detail a beautiful interior scheme that balanced refinement with easy relaxation. From the internal spatial planning to detailed joinery design, decisions were aligned with a warm palette of materials inspired by the colours of the landscape and local geology. Cherry and Douglas fir timbers sit next to local Cornish granite, and mineral plasters meet marble surfaces to create a backdrop for sumptuous, comfy furnishings and local artwork. Key moments include the dramatic staircase showcasing the bespoke Bert Frank chandelier, the inviting wine cave, a master suite with jaw dropping view and the surprising, light-filled subterranean gymnasium and ensuite. All interior elements designed and detailed by Born Designers. Due for completion early 2026
